TangledI want to soar with you but I'm a tattered kite bound to the earth by tangled strings.Tangled
Heavy hands manipulate the line, twist me 'round and send me crashing to the dirt.
Torn upon the rocks and smeared with dust I am sent once more unto the wind.
Climbing skyward to your world of clouds and light but their leash will ever pull me back.
Testing the limitations of the twine I sink and spiral, a discarded feather in the draft.
I want to glide beside you but I'm a tethered kite and I'm not meant to break free.
